As additional edit to my last video I’m trying to analyze an improvised Chaconne/Passacaglia by Alexander Weimann on the descending tetrachord. I chose this performance for several reasons. On the technical side: it is relatively short but nevertheless is rich in content and aspects that potentially can be addressed. On the side of artistry: I find this an inspiring and expressive example of genuine jamming on a baroque bass line classic.
