Valle Nevado is a popular ski resort located in the Chilean Andes, about 60 km east of Santiago, the capital of Chile. Located at more than 3,000 meters above sea level, it is one of the largest and most modern ski areas in South America, famous for the quality of its snow and its international standard facilities. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the location offers spectacular panoramic views of the mountains, luxury accommodation and various leisure options such as restaurants, bars and spas. The ski season normally runs from June to September, taking advantage of the southern hemisphere winter.
