Shakti may be personified as the gentle and benevolent Uma, consort of Shiva, or Kali, the terrifying force destroying evil, or Durga, the warrior who conquers forces that threaten the stability of the universe.

We tried to depict as many of these forms as possible through our choreo ...beginning with the ever soulful 'Aigiri Nandini' to the powerful ' Tandav', transitioning into ' Gondhal' ( Maharashtrian folk dance in praise of Ambe Mata ) and finally culminating into the energetic ' Maay Bhavani '. 💃

We sure had our share of hiccups along the way, but in the end it was all worth it! Huge shout out to all our girls who rocked the stage ...we couldn't have done it without you guys ❤️ Here's to ' Girl Shakti ' !💃💃
