We are currently working on the Tables in Communities project which is focused on helping young people and families find places and spaces where they can enjoy sport together. We are providing free access to table tennis by placing tables and equipment in public spaces and places for the wider community to benefit from. This includes schools, shops, squares, parks, tourist spots, and other indoor community facilities. We aim to grow the capacity of our local communities to deliver and sustain access to sport and the benefits that come from participating.

To help make the process easy we have developed the “Seekapong” app that gives people all over Auckland access to information about where they can play table tennis and the ability to connect with others interested in table tennis in their local community. The number of venues and users is growing weekly.
