We are still more than a week out from the opener here, but it is time to start coming with a starting point. After the third card pull, we come up with a basic plan for the first week of the season. Unfortunately, based on my experiences in the past, whatever daylight activity we are seeing on the cameras right now will be mostly gone by October 1. So all of this is pretty loose. With that in mind, we are coming up with only a tentative plan on how we are going to hunt the non-typical buck and the fat buck on the far corner of the property. The goal is to make a play for those bucks, maybe shoot some does and at the same time stay away from the Jordan Buck's historical range. We want to keep the door open for him to move back in.
