This forum aims to improve the speed, validity, knowledge translation, and public health impact of opioid simulation modeling efforts to reduce fatal overdoses and injection-related transmission of HCV, and HIV in North America.

The session, "Addressing Public Health Data Gaps," is chaired by Eli Rosenberg, Deputy Director for Science, in the Office of Public Health, at the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and an associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Albany.
