This time, I climbed Mt. Iimori, which rises above Ikoma.

Mt. Iimori Kawachi is also a mountain with a long history.
At the top of the mountain was the residence of the Sengoku warlord, Miyoshi Nagayoshi.
Currently, only stone walls remain, but it seems that it was a large castle.
In the olden days, Masatsura Kusunoki, the son of Masatsura Kusunoki, died in Shijonawate at the foot of the mountain.
Therefore, a statue of Masatsura Kusunoki stands on the mountaintop.

The other day, I went to visit Kusunoki-an Kannonji Temple, which is related to Mrs. Hisako, the mother of Masayuki Kusunoki.

What kind of life was Kusunoki Masatsura?

The heavyweights of the Muromachi Shogunate who knew his father, Kusunoki Masashige, became afraid of the existence of Masayuki.
This is exactly the return of Kusunoki Masashige.
In this way, the activities of Masayuki will give momentum to the Southern Court.

However, in the Northern Court, the Shogunate army also raised all its power to defeat Masatsura Kusunoki.
Masayuki, who had been undefeated until now, will also be defeated in the battle of Shijonawate.
The right army was blocked on the left and right behind and could only move forward.
Nevertheless, the Orthodox Army continues to advance and attack the front of the enemy.
And finally Masayuki runs out of power.

This time, the main deity of Shijonawate Shrine, which I visited after descending the mountain, is Masatsura Kusunoki.
There is a spectacular life both now and in the past.
In the midsummer, we will climb Mt. Iimori in Kawachi in the scorching heat.
