This work by Chopin was nicknamed Winter Wind. It is one of Chopin's most technically challenging Etudes. The theme is introduced very softly followed by an abrupt change in dynamic and a cascading chromatic line. This piece requires stamina, dexterity, and accuracy from the pianist.
