This is Gargi Das. WBCS (Executive)-2018.
On request of many of you, I am here to share my little bit experience, which may help you.
My interview experience: (15-20 min approx.)
Before starting let me tell you about my past journey which will help you to understand why I was asked that particular questions.
Schooling: Taki House Govt. Spon. Girls High School.
College: B.Pharm and M.Pharm degree from Jadavpur University.
Work Experience:
1. System Engineer in TCS for 3 yrs 5 months.
2. Postal Assistant in India Post for 1 yr. 4 months.
3. Revenue Officer from 2017.
Questions:
1. Where do u live?
2. Why did not pursued PHD instead of having masters? Do you want to complete your PHD now and leave your current job if get an opportunity?
3. Why did u left TCS as you can have onsite opportunity and higher salary there? What technology u used in TCS (a brief description and names of softwares were asked)?
4. What kind of work you used to do in postal dept.?
5. Why did you left postal dept though it was a central govt. job?
6. What is Pharmacology? (related to B.Pharm)
7. What do you do as Revenue Officer? What are the main work of a RO?
How mutation applications are taken in your block?( Manual/online)
Why not online completely?
Under which section mutation is done?
Sections- 14T, 51a(2), 50, 15s
Whether your block is finally published or not? Under which section a mouza is finally published?
What is standard hectre? (full detail was asked)
1 hectre is how many acre?
What is Debottar property? Can you transfer a debottar property?
Year of LR and EA act?

(Except few confusions I almost answered all questions related to land)
8. What will you do as a BDO, so that all the govt. schemes will easily reach to the common people, so that they don’t get harassed at the office premises?
