Not quite ready to set the telescope up but using binoculars and a spotting scope to view a few objects in the night sky.

The telescope (undergoing servicing) is my Vixen ED80S 80 mm F720mm
Mounted on a Great Polaris DX mount.

Currently the hand controller needs a new 3.6 volt Lithium battery, used to retain time and location data.
Also the Polar Alignment scope may be out of commission due to the amount of time passed since the alignment etchings were cut in the reticule. This is as a result of the Earth wobbling on its axis and Polaris not in fact being aligned with true celestial North. I also have to sort out a 12v supply to drive the hand controller and motors.
