Have you ever wanted to grow a whole bunch of fruit trees but don't have much space? Backyard Orchard Culture is the method for you. This growing method is built around size control and heavy pruning to yield small fruit trees that are high producers. I will show you in this video how to make the first cuts to your new fruit tree in order to promote three to five strong scaffold branches. We're working on building structure and shape in the first year or two. I'll use a plum tree for the demonstration.

This video is only the first step. Growing fruit trees as a long-term investment that will pay off down the line. So look for more backyard Orchard culture videos over the years, I will build a playlist out of all the videos. @IVOrganic
