- Note: This hotel closed down in July 2024 for a comprehensive renovation that will have all of its interiors overhauled. Afterwards, the hotel will be rebranded as a Westin property prior to reopening in 2025. While what will happen to its elevators is not exactly known at the moment; however, judging by how the six guest elevators of Grand InterContinental Parnas were modded by TKE during its renovation that occurred a few years ago, and how, being older models, all of them lacked the latest safety equipment now required by local regulations, it is very likely they are also on the chopping block; hence, it is safe to consider this series of videos as a farewell ride of this hotel's elevators. InterContinental Seoul COEX is dead, long live The Westin...

The set of three elevators in this video provide access to the hotel's basement parking garage, retail arcade on the second basement, Harmony Ballroom and conference center on the first basement, and ancillary facilities on the first three floors. They belonged to helical-geared traction models developed by LG in the late 1990s, and looked pretty much the same as the main guest elevators albeit with lower ceilings. Buttons in one of the cars had been modified to touchless variants during the COVID pandemic, but for some reason the other two had not received the same treatment. They featured the same Mitsubishi/Nippon Otis-like chimes as in the main guest elevators. Their ride quality was also overall quite smooth.
