About Cormet de Roselend from Bourg-Saint-Maurice
The ride to Cormet de Roselend is stunningly beautiful. It is like few others in France. The average grade of six percent makes it a ride accessible to most cyclists. The road from Bourg-Saint-Maurice takes you up through forests, gorges, and hair-pins to an amazing alpine wonderland. The ride varies between a grade of 8 percent and flat sections where you can recover. On the last 7 kilometers / 4.3 miles of the ride, you ride in an eye-popping mountainscape with glacier views. Adding music to the ride:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride... The original sound of the ride has been left out as the natural sounds of the surroundings is drowned by noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing.
