This video explores The Edge of the World camping area outside of Flagstaff, AZ. overlooking Sedona, AZ..

To get to this area take Woody Mountain road (FR 231) out of Flagstaff and follow it for a little over 20 miles. You can also input "east pocket lookout tower" into google maps and it will take you to the same area. The overlook/camping spots are before the lookout tower. Study it on google maps before you go to have an idea of where you are going.

There are a handful of different overlook spots out there and you might have to do some exploring to find the one that works for you. This is a fairly busy area especially on the weekends. There are no facilities/water, you have to bring everything you need with you. PACK IT IN...PACK IT OUT!

This spot is definitely worth checking out whether you live in the area or you're on a road trip passing through. The road is wash boarded most of the way with some rocky spots towards the end. I see cars out there all the time, just take it slow and check your clearance if you're not sure.
