Next to BOTW Astral Chain was the game I was most excited to play when I got my Switch last year. The game was better than I expected–fusing anime cops, Neon Evangelion, and Pokemon into a refreshing medley. This is why it's so disappointing that one of the best new IPs in recent years has seemingly been forgotten merely three years after its release. Hopefully, this review can help show you why this game deserves your attention in 2022.
