The base map provided in the Holley Terminator X software for a supercharged SBF leaves a lot to be desired. It has too little resolution for tuning in boost, too much resolution for tuning before boost, WAY too much timing up top, and WAY too little timing in low boost.

In this video, we show how to rescale your timing table's KPA rows to gain better tunability during boost, but only in the boost rows you'll actually hit with your combo. This requires reducing the number of rows down low and eliminating rows that are way high.

Then we set practical numbers based on our naturally aspirated performance, and fill in the boosted timing values across the usable rpm and boost range.

***** Also note, this map is going right toward where a final timing number might be for your combo. To be safe, you should probably run through this process, then pull 3-4 degrees timing in all boosted areas for your first pull. Then if all goes well, creep up on the final numbers 1 degree at a time. Safety first!
