In this video, I take you to one of the most historically and culturally significant cities in Albania, Gjirokaster (Ergiri). In this magnificent city, which bears traces of the Ottoman period, we'll not only feast our eyes but also our stomachs! Walking through the streets, I try some of Albania's most famous street foods and share these experiences with you.

Gjirokaster is a city located in the south of Albania, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Famous for its Ottoman architecture and stone houses, this city is also known as the "City of Stones." Gjirokaster holds great importance in Albanian history and culture. It is also known as the Silver City of the Ottoman Empire, as it became a major trading hub during the Ottoman era.

In this video, while exploring the narrow streets and discovering the must-try tastes of Albanian cuisine, I also introduce you to the city up close. Along with traditional Albanian dishes such as Byrek and Qifqi, Gjirokaster's unique street foods also make an appearance. While learning the stories behind these amazing flavors, we explore the streets, historical buildings, and natural beauty of the city.
