We move into the introduction in this video and ask what sensation is. Although we won’t answer the question in this video, we will see that sensation is neither “pure impression” nor “pure quality.” Both of these are, in fact, fictions. To understand sensation we will need to take a pre-objective stance, which we will do in the following videos.
