Here I have deliberately starved a potted rose of water. A Gertrude Jekyll rose.
How much water to give a new potted rose was something I spent many hours searching the internet for. Here is my take on it. You don’t want to leave it this long before watering. The idea is to get it before it hits this stage. (And using less water). Traditional methods of drainage taught on the internet didn’t work for me. And Drainage is key for novice rose growers like myself. I overwatered many roses and I will try and add my earlier video link here.
