In this video I am showing you how to remove and replace the D2S xenon headlight bulbs that are fitted to a factory bi-xenon HID headlight of a Mercedes-Benz ML W164 or GL X164. While these bulbs do last a long time in comparison to normal halogen bulbs, their light output deteriorates with time and especially when they near the end of their life span.

As you can see from the video one of the bulbs had failed internally causing the xenon gas to escape the chamber where it was supposed to be held. This has resulted the discoloration of the light that is being outputted (purplish hue), as well as deterioration in the light output.
