09.29.20 | 10:20 AM | RIVERSIDE - At approximately 10:20 this morning, Riverside Fire Departments responded to a 3 alarm vegetation fire.

When they arrived, they found around 1/2 an acre burning with a high rate of spread. The fire was within a few hundred yards from homes and a city park.

Crews quickly started knocking down the fire and were able to contain it to under 10 acres.

Crews remained on scene for at least a few hours to mop up and investigate the cause.
