Torturous hike up until the first 2 cairns (Birreencorragh south). But it gave way to one of the most pleasant mountain plateaus I've ever walked on, which made a great break from the usual peat hags, bog holes, hole holes, swamps and general terrible ground I'm used to. Then it was more torture as the gradient increased on the push to the top of Birreencorragh. But all the pain evaporated on summiting, views were unreal and the weather played ball for the most part.

Filmed on Gopro Hero 7, 2.7K, 24P. Wide F.O.V.
