Assalamu Alaikum! Join me as I share my first experience attending a Milad juloos. The procession began after the Zuhr prayer at 1:30 PM at Daar-ul-Uloom. Around 2 PM, people gathered and started moving towards Stockport Road.

People enjoyed jalebis from what I believe was Sanam Sweets, and later, chai and water near Appna Store. Qadria Jilania Islamic Centre joined the juloos, providing additional food and support.

The procession continued along Dickenson Road and Wilmslow Road, with Dawateislami joining in along the way. Nirala Sweets on Wilmslow Road also contributed by distributing food boxes to participants.

I took a shortcut to see how Manchester Central Mosque was prepared to receive the juloos, and everything was well organized. Watch the video to see the highlights of this meaningful event!

Eid Milad ul Nabi is a celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam. Here are the main reasons why people celebrate it:

*Honoring the Prophet: Muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad was the most perfect human being and a role model for all. Celebrating his birth is a way to express their love, respect, and gratitude for his teachings and guidance.
*Spreading Light and Knowledge: The day is often marked by religious gatherings, lectures, and discussions about the life and teachings of the Prophet. This helps to spread awareness and understanding of Islamic principles and values.
*Community Bonding: Eid Milad ul Nabi is an occasion for Muslims to come together and strengthen their community bonds. It's a time for family and friends to gather, share meals, and celebrate their faith.
*Celebrating the Birth of Mercy: Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad was sent as a mercy to all creation. By celebrating his birth, they express their joy and gratitude for the blessings that Islam has brought to the world.

It's important to note that while the celebration is widely observed, there are some differences in how it is celebrated across different Muslim communities and regions. Some may emphasize religious activities, while others may focus on social gatherings and community events.
