I'm cheating a bit, but for #VielleVendredi I wanted to revisit last Sunday's tune "Avant-Deux Bourdounau". My old friend Romain Chéré let me know that we were playing it wrong! It's actually a four part tune from Poitou and each part is tied to one part of the four-part avant-deux dance. We also had the order of the parts wrong lol, we really screwed this one up! So now here it is the way it's supposed to be played! What a fun tune, but hard on the vielle! Or maybe I just need to keep practicing!
