Ride along with us on a road trip to Ambuklao in Bokod Benguet via the scenic Benguet - Nueva Viscaya Highway 110.

Our first stop will be lunch at Lolo Cancio. An Inn and Restaurant up in the mountains that offers a spectacular view of Ambuklao Lake.

Next, we’ll take you down the mountains for a closer look at the Ambuklao lake itself, which is actually a man-made reservoir built in the '50s to prevent the upper Agno river basin from flooding the lowlands.

Along the way, we ran into a bit of car trouble which was probably brought about by the steep uphill road and thin mountain air which almost did our engine in. Luckily we always set out prepared and managed to get ourselves out of a trip-ending jam and back on the road.

All in all, it's probably a 9-hour trip compressed into 9 minutes of video :)
