As I continue my journey exploring Transylvania is like stepping into a fairy tale, where medieval charm meets stunning landscapes. As I travel through this enchanting region of Romania, Transfăgărășan, the cities of Sibiu and Sighisoara beckon with their rich histories and vibrant cultures.

Sibiu is a highlight of any Transylvanian adventure. This picturesque city is known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, cobblestone streets, and vibrant squares. The Grand Square (Piața Mare) is the heart of the city, surrounded by colorful baroque buildings and bustling cafes. As you wander, don’t miss the Brukenthal Palace, home to one of Romania’s oldest museums, showcasing art and culture from the region.

The city's charm is enhanced by its fortified churches, such as the Evangelical Church, which boasts a stunning Gothic tower that offers panoramic views of the city. The Bridge of Lies, shrouded in local legends, is a must-visit for a touch of mystery.

Sighisoara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a gem of Transylvania and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Dracula. The town’s medieval citadel, with its colorful buildings and narrow alleys, is a delight to explore.
