I went to the Arakawa River, which flows through Saitama Prefecture, to collect gold dust.
I had narrowed down the collecting points around "Yorii Town" beforehand, but when I actually went there, I found that they were closed or had bad roads.
But when we actually went there, we found that it was closed, there were bad roads, and the road was too narrow for a camper.
The road was too narrow to enter with a camping car, so we changed the plan and headed for Oku-chichibu.
We changed our plan and headed for Okuchichibu.

There are two large dams upstream of the Arakawa River, the Takigawa Dam and the Futaba Dam.
We headed for "Nakatsugawa" upstream of the dam, but Prefectural Road No. 210 was closed due to a landslide.
We decided to return to the roadside station "Otaki Onsen" located downstream of the dam to collect sand dunes.

Since I started collecting, I had wondered, "Can gold dust cross a dam?" I had wondered whether gold dust could cross over the dam.
But my doubts were confirmed when I was able to collect gold dust downstream of the dam this time.
I would like to continue to enjoy collecting without worrying about the dam.
