A nice trip with the family to the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA. Although there was plenty to see and do (and we caught most of it), this features only the Rainforest Exhibit. Following a path that winds up to the "canopy", we are able to see the variety of plants, insects, and other living things at all different levels of the forest.

For someone who sweats easily, it was a trial to make it to the top... but a blessing when the final elevator ride back down released us to the cool, dark aquarium below. And then there were the children... all those children... so many. At least this was a place of learning.

Not filmed here, but certainly worth the visit, is the Planetarium's showing about the Study of Dark Matter and Dark Energy.
