Karo Hayrapetyan, born on February 20, 1942, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR, emerged as a prominent figure in the world of music. He was a trailblazer in introducing the violin to the "Rabiz" genre, significantly enhancing its appeal and bringing it to the limelight of theatrical stage performances.

From a young age, Hayrapetyan displayed exceptional musical talent, which led him to pursue formal education in music. He studied at the esteemed Komitas Conservatory in Yerevan and furthered his studies in Moldova. His career was marked by numerous concerts, showcasing his virtuosity and passion for music.

His legacy continues through his son, Jazzman Vahagn Hayrapetyan, who has also made a name for himself in the music industry.

Karo Hayrapetyan's life journey began with his parents, Petros and Hripsimen, who originally lived in Western Armenia before moving to France, where they married in 1933. In 1936, they relocated back to Armenia, and Karo was born in 1942, named after his grandfather. His ascent to the peak of the theatrical scene was a result of his profound dedication and skill.

Hayrapetyan's life came to an end on October 10, 1997, in Yerevan, Armenia, leaving behind a rich musical heritage that continues to inspire many. His genre of focus was Jazz, and he excelled in his occupation as a violinist.
