Two days after his wife's funeral, René Volken had a heart attack. His heart stopped and he had a near-death experience. In the course of this, he encountered his deceased wife. She asked him to go back and look after their two children- he was, however, not to remain alone. When he woke up again, he had a short vision of a woman, with whom he later became acquainted
