So we drove all the way to Alleppey from Varkala which was about 3 n half hour drive, just to explore its backwaters riding a nice houseboat. We did infact booked a houseboat privately for us & my goodness how breathtaking the views were while we explored the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey.
