RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
Small onion - 250 gram
Beetroot - 1
Green chilli - 8 to 10
Garlic - 10 to 12 cloves
Water - 1 cup
White vinegar - 1 cup
Sugar - 2 tsp
Salt - 2 tsp
Bay leaf - 2
Fennel seed - 1 tsp
Kalonji - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
METHOD
•In a pan add water sugar salt & boil the mixture.
•Turn off the heat add white vinegar,bay leaf, fennel seed, kalonji, black pepper & let the mixture cool down completely.
•Prepare the onion bowl add onion, green chilli, beetroot & garlic pour the mixture into it & let them rest for 24 hour.
•After 24 hour onion is ready to eat, enjoy the pickled onion as a salade.
