The pears have ripened at Rod Ridge Farm, but the bees are terrorizing me and the fruit. There are all sorts of bees, and they are eating all of the big juicy pears. I have to be very careful trying to pick. I have resorted to picking pears just before dark, but don't get them all before I run out of light.
