This year, we celebrated Ganesh Visarjan with our family in the heart of Versova village. The day began with an emotional farewell to our beloved Bappa. As we prepared for the Visarjan, we offered our final prayers and sweets, thanking Lord Ganesha for blessing our home. The streets of Versova were alive with the beats of dhol and tasha as families, like ours, gathered to say goodbye to Ganpati Bappa.

Together, we carried our Ganpati idol to the Versova beach, where the vibrant Koli community was united in devotion and celebration. The atmosphere was filled with chanting, dancing, and laughter. As we immersed Bappa in the ocean, we felt a mix of emotions – sadness to see Him go but happiness knowing He’ll return next year. यावर्षी आम्ही आमच्या कुटुंबासह वर्सोवा गावात गणेश विसर्जन मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरं केलं. सकाळीच आमच्या लाडक्या बाप्पाला निरोप देण्यासाठी मनाच्या तळातून प्रार्थना आणि मिठाई अर्पण केली. वर्सोव्यातील रस्ते ढोल ताशांच्या गजरात जिवंत झाले होते. सर्वत्र गणपती बाप्पा मोरयाच्या जयघोषात उत्सवाचे वातावरण होते.

आम्ही आमच्या बाप्पाची मूर्ती घेऊन वर्सोवा बीचकडे निघालो, तिथे कोळी समाजाच्या एकत्रित श्रद्धेचा आणि आनंदाचा अनुभव घेतला. मंत्र, नृत्य, आणि हास्याचा आवाज आसमंतात भरून गेला होता. बाप्पाला समुद्रात विसर्जित करताना मनात हळवेपणा होता, पण पुढच्या वर्षी त्याच्या आगमनाची आनंदाची अपेक्षा होती. हा उत्सव आमच्यासाठी परंपरेचं महत्त्व आणि कुटुंबासोबत साजरा करण्याचा आनंद अधोरेखित करणारा होता."
