For 40 years, the soda giants have peddled an epic, sanitized, hyper-optimistic view of the world. That disbelief suspended, I've always loved this old Pepsi campaign. It's like a rapid-fire slideshow of my childhood's earliest memories; a sweeping time capsule of the pre-Watergate wonder years. And they just don't make anthems like this one anymore.
