“Katak” (Frog) durian is one of the most delicious durians in Penang. However, it is very rare nowadays. Seldom see in the market.
“青蛙”榴莲也是槟城非常好吃的榴莲之一，但是现今已经很少见了。

“Katak” durian is in long shape. The upper part is smaller. While the middle or bottom part is bigger. The outlook is a bit like a water droplet. The thorns are short, medium size and not dense. The middle point of the bottom part is flat and with some small thorns. The upper crown is small and not obvious. The stem is slim and medium long.
“青蛙”榴莲的外型是长型的，上方小，下方或中间大，有点像水滴。刺短、中等、不密集。下方中间点平底及有小刺，上方冠型小及不是很明显。柄是瘦及中长。

There are two types of flesh. One is darker yellow and the other is beige. The dark yellow has a very strong taste and very bitter. While the beige colour flesh has lighter taste. It is a dry body durian. The taste is carrying very strong bitter and wine taste. The flesh is thick, very sticky, fine fiber and very delicious. The slim body is usually with small seeds. While the round shape is with big seeds. If it is an old tree “Katak” durian that is dark yellow with blackish, you will never forget its taste after eaten. You will come back and look for it again.
其果肉有两种，一种比较深黄色及一种是米色，深黄色的味道浓稠及偏苦，米色则比较浅味，属于干身的榴莲。其味道带着浓郁的苦味和酒味。肉厚，非常黏，非常幼纤维及可口。瘦长形的一般都是小种子，圆形则是大种子。如果是老树“青蛙”榴莲呈深黄带黑，肯定你吃过后会深深地记住及回头。
