A presentation on Medical Missions to Afikpo from 2005 to 2013 delivered by Dr. Egwu during Afikpo New Yam Festival and Fundraiser in Burtonsville, Maryland, USA on August 2, 2014.

In late July or early August each year, Afikpo people in the United States are joined by those from Nigeria and other countries to celebrate the annual New Yam Festival and raise funds for the annual Medical Mission to provide free medical supplies and services to indigent patients in Afikpo, Ebonyi State, Nigeria.

The Festival and Medical Mission is organized by Afikpo Organization Inc, with the support of donors and volunteers.
