Idiyappam is one of the unique dishes of Kerala. Idiyappam is made by finely grinding and frying greens. The fact is that there is not much to beat the idiyappam in terms of looks and taste. It can be eaten in many ways. Can be eaten with milk and sugar Chicken and beef and vegetable curries. I would say eggs are the best.


നാടന്‍ ഇടിയപ്പവും ചൂടന്‍ മുട്ടക്കറിയും.
കേരളത്തിന്റെ തനതു വിഭവങ്ങളില്‍ ഒന്നാണ് ഇടിയപ്പം. പച്ചരി നേര്‍മയായി പൊടിച്ചെടുത്ത് വറുത്ത് പാകമാക്കിയിട്ടാണ് ഇടിയപ്പം ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്. കാഴ്ചയിലും സ്വാദിലുമൊക്കെ ഇടിയപ്പത്തെ വെല്ലാന്‍ അധികമാരും ഇല്ലെന്നതാണ് വാസ്തവം. ഇത് പല വിധത്തില്‍ കഴിക്കാം. പാലും പഞ്ചസാരയും ചേര്‍ത്ത് കഴിക്കാം ചിക്കന്‍, ബീഫ് കറി ചേര്‍ത്ത് കഴിക്കാം കടലക്കറി, വെജിറ്റബിള്‍ കറികള്‍ എന്നിവയോടെല്ലാം ഇടിയപ്പത്തിന് ചങ്ങാത്തമുണ്ട്. മുട്ടക്കറിയാണ് ബെസ്റ്റ് എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പറയും.
