This is my first trip to Shikoku!
I stayed at the Kotohira Grand Hotel Sakura no Sho in Kotohira-cho, Kagawa Prefecture.
This modern Japanese-style hot spring hotel is located on the 22nd step of the approach to Konpira Shrine, known by the nickname "Konpira-san" (Konpira is also home to the Konmaruza Theater. (Kotohira is also home to the Konparuza Theater, which is a sacred place for Kabuki 👀).

Among the rooms, I stayed at the "Besso Hatsune," a new guest room building inspired by the world of Kabuki!
I enjoyed the beautiful Kotohira scenery, the Japanese modern and relaxing space, Sanuki udon noodles and other Kagawa delicacies, and the open-air guest room bath that healed my body and soul 😌.
I rediscovered the charm of Kagawa and want to come back! I would like to come back again!
