Dave busts out one of the cooler battle-worn 1911's we've seen yet. The US flag melts in to a darkened modern camp pattern with some laser engraving and accents added along the way. This particular firearm was for a friend of both Dave and Luke's whom is a retired Master Sergeant with the US Army. We ordered a set of milled aluminum grips specifically for this job that we could laser engrave with the insignia and rank that the customer wanted. Dave then engraved the service dates of the customer's deployments and overall service on the slide.

Overall the shop spent about 13 hours on this job. Starting from finding parts to use, design for laser engraving, time spent laying out the order of operations for the 9 or so colors on this job and then all the stencil and spray work. Join us as we show the Cerakote part of the job!
