Typology is the study of certain objects, events, or people from the Old Testament that prefigured things to come in the New Testament - often centered around the life and work of Jesus Christ. The story of Joseph is notable for its several overlapping plot points that correspond to the Gospel accounts of Jesus.

In this episode we compare the new symbols of the bread and wine that Jesus instituted at the last Passover and show how the Old Testament foreshadowed this in the story of Joseph being joined in prison with Pharaoh's baker and cupbearer.
