One of the best-selling vehicles in the USA, this right-sized two-row crossover has improved fuel economy, a nicer cabin, more features and slightly sharper dynamics than its predecessor. It's bound to be another sales smash.

Q: When will the 2019 Toyota RAV4 go on sale?
A: The RAV4 will start showing up in dealerships in December.

Q: What kind of engine does it have?
A: All RAV4s have a 2.5-liter non-turbocharged four-cylinder that's found in nearly identical form in the Camry. It's mated to an eight-speed automatic that drives the front (or optionally, all four) wheels. There's also a hybrid model.

A: The base 2019 Toyota RAV4 will start at $26,545 (including destination) and climb to just over $40,000 for a hybrid model in top Limited trim, equipped with all options.
