Join us onboard MSC Virtuosa, as we take you along on our MSC excursion. Today we are in Balboa Spain and we are of to the Rioja region on a wine tasting tour.
First of we visit CVNE
CVNE, Compañía Vinícola del Norte del España (the Northern Spanish Wine Company), was founded in 1879 in the town of Haro in Rioja. CVNE was founded by two brothers and today is still controlled by the direct descendants of the founding family. Since its inception, CVNE has been focused on the production and aging of wines and now comprises of four wineries: CVNE, Imperial, Vina Real and Contino.

and the its off to Bohedal Bodega Boutique.
The tasting room and the Winery are perfect to enjoy their wines and experiences. They have an owned vineyard with an average age of 40 years. Viura, Tempranillo , Garnacha and Graciano are our grape varieties within the Rioja Denomination of Origin, which maintains strict quality controls to continue to be one of the most appreciated by consumers around the world. Since 1917 we continue to maintain the family commitment to the wine and the winery three generations after its foundation."

Then its back to the ship to enjoy an excellent evening with The Priviteers
The Privateers are Aubrey Moore, Brian Deo and Paul Trattle. The trio have been playing music together for thirty years and draw their inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists from 50's doo-wop to current popular music, all with an acoustic sound and steeped in harmony.
