I put the hard yards in for my videos, so do me a solid and buy from the links below. These are the cheapest places I could source these for international sale. These Boafeng UV-25 units were a bit disappointing, although the hammer test may look like something potentially outlawed under the Geneva Convention - in reality it (by my maths) would replicate a decent drop from a reasonable height face-first. I've lost a few expansive items to cats so it seemed an apposite test as something that's actually likely to happen.
Or just knocking a glass of water over the radio.

Please note: My reviews are not called Robust Reviews for nothing; they're potentially liable to offend but I deal in the real world, not always the rarified atmosphere of safe content - please give these a wide-berth if strong language and adult themes might be something you'd rather not watch. I hope you do get a chuckle though.

Part 3 (the final bit) will be released Wednesday 26 June 2024, 2200 BST, that'll include long-range testing, and Big Jim seeing how tough these things are in the real world.
Although I come across a cynical so-and-so it does mean a lot that you're watching, and truly, I'm honored to have anybody watch my nonsense. It's all very tongue in cheek :)
===Notes for the non-Brits===
For those outside the UK, I think the Band Police may be lost, it's a 'homage' (although a rather paper-thin one) to the UK police procedural "The Bill". Think 'Hill Street Blues' but based in London upon the very real Metropolitan Police. I can't find a link to anything beyond "Old Bill" which is a Cockney term for the police.... The origins of that though, they're disputed.
So, like Hill Street Blues but with more silly hats and ever-expanding epaulets. Also expect grizzled coppers calling their seniors 'guv' every fifteenth word.
Curious fact, the original theme is an absolute JAM, and for the musicians, it's in the lumpen 7/4 time which is a touch unusual for a TV theme.    â˘Â The Bill - Titles 1991-1992  is the version that I used though, as it's the one I remember from when I used to watch it.
Where were we?!
I'm leaning this YouTube stuff, your feedback is always welcomed! :)
Thanks again!
More soon,
Andy
