It was a great privilege to be entertained by the local Tikopian Cultural Dance group TAFIVAKA who presented several dance performances in our traditional way. Being Tikopians ourselves we take pride in our culture and traditions and its preservation in its original form.
We appreciate the invaluable contributions of all our families from both sides and Tafivaka group. We appreciate the great help by our families at White River for the umu and pig as well as all our other families and friends for helping with food preparation and ensuring a successful day. We acknowledge Pama Fereumata and their families for use of their lovely beach and utensils. We also appreciate all the individuals and families who presented gifts for our daughter and everyone who attended and helped us out in one way or another. We give praise and thanks to our Heavenly Father for a pleasant day and ensuring a safe gathering. Matea te fakaueue. May God bless you all.
