This Bharatanatyam presentation of Sri Madurai R. Muralidharan's Kali Kauthuvam describes the glory of Goddess Kali. The dancers show the different aspects of Devi: a compassionate mother and fierce killer who protects her devotees. Each charanam beautifully describes the way Kali removes evil and defends the innocent.
Performed by Harshini Iyer, Varshini Iyer and Prisha Kuberan.
