This was my 2020 HSC project. It was one of my very first short films that I made by myself.

My statement:

"My film depicts the struggle of opening up about the feeling of numbness. I chose this idea as a healing method. I wanted to depict beauty and chose aesthetics that linked to this idea. I explore this through a faceless and silent dialogue between two characters. Having the film portrayed without a solid character accentuates the empty feeling of numbness, and the foggy subdued colours and tones amplifies the way time morphs while old feelings are gone. Life is made of emotions and emotions make time memorable, while numbness puts a hold on all of that. I think numbness is the middle stage between the farewell and the beginning, death and rebirth all in one."
