Namaskara folks! Welcome to a new show on Food Lovers TV, where we seek to explore diverse strands of a city’s culinary landscape in a single episode. In our first tour, we visit Mysuru, a city that has always held an allure for travellers, for its majestic charm steeped in royal heritage, architecture and its proud traditions. Alongside its fabled eateries and shops that have stood the test of time, the city has also witnessed the birth of new age bakeries, cafes and food concepts. In the first show in this series, we explore a decades old popular biryani at RRR followed by a visit to SAPA Bakery that in a short span of only four years has endeared itself to the hearts of locals and travellers alike. A trip to Mysuru is incomplete without a taste of the Mysuru Pak, and we explore myriad flavours of this mithai at its source, Guru Sweets. Followed by a market outing to taste bananas including one that enjoys a GI tg. There’s more in this episode, hope you enjoy it.
