The City of Joondalup, Australia, won the Living Green for Water category of the AIPH World Green City Awards 2024 for their Climate Change Strategy.

Additionally, the city also won the new AIPH Youth Award, which was presented in collaboration with the Global Youth Biodiversity Network.
