With the kids dropped off and settling into Camp Timberline, Kyle and I embarked on our first day exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. We stayed in Estes Park and picked some very short, easy hikes. Most were honestly more like strolls.

The only problem? We started with the highest elevation we'd see all week, in the tundra. Fun! :)

Check out our drive along Old Fall River Rd up to the Alpine Visitor Center, Chasm Falls, Marmot Point (with a visit from THE Marmot himself ;)), the Tundra Community Trailhead, Alluvial Fan Trail, Sprague Lake, and Bear Lake, followed by a well-deserved visit to our chalet's hot tub, a walk on the beautiful resort grounds, and a river-side swing.
